Refund policy

Taobao is the world’s largest C2C online store. Many Taobao sellers are individuals and some of them are amateurs. Occasionally they may make mistakes when handling the orders, sending wrong quantity, size or design. Once your orders arrive at GF's China warehouses, we will check quantity, size, color, design of the orders and obvious visual defects. Normally more than 90% of the mistakes can be caught in China and settled directly with the sellers to save your loss. Nevertheless, some may skip our inspection or get damaged during international transportation and delivered to you.

GF Team offers a worry-free warranty policy to cover these issues. For problems under inspection coverage, compensation or exchange will be offered. Please also take note that quality or functionality related issues are not covered.

Wrong items: If the items you received are of wrong quantity, size, color or design, please take a photo with the order number and a short description; email us within 3 days upon receipt.

Damaged items: If the items you received are found to have damages or defects, please take a photo with the order number and a short description; email us within 3 days upon receipt.

Missing items: All orders are supposed to come with GF's order number labels. Sometimes orders may be packed closely together and difficult to see, if you find the order number label, the item should be inside. If both the item and order number label are missing, you can tell us the missing order number, email us within 3 days upon receipt.

The after-sale email address is vip at yitops com, we will reply you within 3-5 working days after checking with our team and sellers. The compensation for wrong items or missing items is up to the full insured value. The compensation for damaged items depends on the severity of the damages and up to the full insured value. You are advised to check inspection coverage session.

Agent Fee: 

GF Team charges agent fee based on the total value of product payment and international shipping fee. The rates are 4%, 6%, 8% for SVIP, VIP, normal members, respectively.

Inspection coverage

Taobao is the world’s largest C2C online store. Many Taobao sellers are individuals and some of them are amateurs. Occasionally they may make mistakes when handling the orders. Once your orders arrive at GF's China warehouse, our staff will do a basic inspection to catch some obvious mistakes. Normally more than 90% of the mistakes can be caught in China and settled directly with the sellers to save your loss.

Basic inspection covers the following problems only: quantity, color, size, design and obvious visual defects.

Product quality, authenticity and functionality related aspect; items in sealed packaging and the packaging box/material are not covered by our basic inspection.

More elaboration with some examples:

Quantity - We will check the quantity received against the quantity you ordered. For bulk purchase, quantity check is to 90% accuracy.

Color - We will check the general color of the items. Variants in colors are considered the same and not covered. For example, light pink, hot pink and baby pink are all considered pink. See examples.

Size - We will check the label on the items received against the size indicated in your order remark. If there’s no label on the items or the size is measured in a different way, we will assume it’s correct.

Design - We will check the design against the one shown on seller’s webpage. For difference which is very marginal, our basic inspection may not be able to spot the difference, so it’s not covered. See examples.

Obvious defects - major obvious defects like big stain, scratches, tears, holes, dents and damages will be spotted and covered in our basic inspection service, but those products with a poor quality, small defects, and unobvious defects are not covered. See examples.

 

Volumetric weight

The cost of transporting a shipment can be affected by the amount of space that it occupies, rather than the actual weight. This is the volumetric (or dimensional) weight.

For international shipping practice, the volumetric weight is calculated and compared with the actual weight of the item – the higher weight is used to calculate shipping cost. The formula to calculate volumetric weight is: Volumetric weight (kg) = length x height x width (cm)/ 5,000

Please note that normally the weight indicated on seller’s webpage is the actual weight. You need to pay special attention to the dimensions of bulky items like soft or plastic toys, diapers, pillows, chairs, crystal lights, bicycles, etc. Sometimes the shipping cost can be even higher than the value of the product itself. It is advised to check the dimension with sellers directly or seek for our help.

Chargeable weight

The weight or volumetric weight you see for each order is weighed or measured at their minimum individual package. When you submit to ship out, all the individual orders will be consolidated into one single parcel. There will be extra weight incurred by the packaging material or extra space occupied due to the small gaps between items. Normally the final chargeable weight of the whole parcel is around 1.1 times the sum of each item’s actual weight or volumetric weight. Every parcel’s chargeable weight will be verified again after final packaging is done.

How to calculate weight?

Our calculation of weight strictly follows international shipping standard.

 

1. Unit weight: 0.5KG. For weight less than 0.5KG it will be treated as 0.5KG for shipping fee calculation.

2. Actual weight: Weight of an item alone without packaging and etc.

3. Volumetric weight: The cost of shipments can be affected by the amount of space taken up on an aircraft / vessel, rather than the actual weight. This is the volumetric (or dimensional) weight. Volumetric weight is calculated as follows: length (cm) × width (cm) × high (cm) ÷ 5000 = Weight (KG) The volumetric weight of a shipment is a calculation that reflects its density. 4. Chargeable Weight: In accordance to international shipping standard, due to parcel packaging weight and spaces between items, whole parcel’s chargeable weight is around 1.1 times the sum of each item’s actual weight or volumetric weight, whichever is larger. GF Team will weigh and label each item in our China receiving warehouse. When items arrive in Singapore, weight will be verified and volumetric weight will be measured again. International shipping fee will be finalized after verification. We want to make sure international shipping cost is accurate and transparent.

 

Storage

At our China warehouse, we offer 30 days of free storage while waiting for your orders to arrive for consolidation. If your 1st order was arrived 30 days ago, all the orders arrived within the 30 days will have to be shipped out first. Your new orders can be then consolidated into another parcel within 30 days.

At our Singapore warehouse, we offer 30 days of free storage upon your parcel arrives in Singapore. Uncollected parcel will be charged for S$1.00 per day for every 10kg. For parcel uncollected for more than 3 months, it will be considered abandoned. 65daigou has the right to dispose it without further notice.
